In this tutorial, we are going to show you how to ban other players on your Minecraft server. This is the last resort when kicking out a disruptive player doesn’t work, so you need a permanent solution to the problem.
So let’s get started.
Step 1. Make sure you are an operator of the server. Click on the link if you don’t know how to OP yourself in Minecraft.
Step 2. Login to your GameTeam dashboard
Step 3. Go to your game console and type “/ban username” and press ENTER. Make sure you don’t forget to change “username” to actual handle you wish to ban from your server.
That’s it, “username” won’t be able to connect to your server anymore.
How long are Minecraft bans?

How to IP ban someone on Minecraft?
There might come a time when you’re dealing someone extra annoying, and banning their username is just not enough. After all, they can always come with other usernames and continue disrupting your game. If you’re in a similar situation, IP banning a player could be your only option. Similar to banning a username, to ban someone’s IP address follow these steps.
Step 1. Go to your console inside your GameTeam control panel.
Step 2. Type “/ban-ip 0.1.1.1.1 [reason for the ban]” and press ENTER. Make sure you write the correct IP address. Inside the brackets you may enter a reason for the ban, but this is optional.
