How much RAM does GTA 6 need on a dedicated server?
Not announced. For scale, a GTA 5 FiveM roleplay server — the closest comparison that exists — runs comfortably on 4-8 GB, and heavily scripted servers use more. Real GTA 6 figures will be published here once a server build exists.
Can I install mods when hosting GTA 6?
Not yet. GTA 6 has no announced PC release and no modding or server tools. GTA 5 modding runs through FiveM, whose team Cfx.re was bought by Rockstar's parent company in 2023, so an official route for GTA 6 is plausible — but nothing has been confirmed.
How many players can GTA 6 support on one server?
Not announced. FiveM servers on GTA 5 commonly run 32-128 players, and GameTeam plans have no slot limit, so the ceiling will be set by the game and the framework rather than by the plan.
When does GTA 6 come out?
Rockstar has confirmed 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-orders for the game opened on 25 June 2026. No PC release date has been announced.
Can I rent a GTA 6 server right now?
No, and neither can anyone else. A self-hosted server needs a PC version of the game and a server framework, and Rockstar has announced neither. Any host advertising a bookable GTA 6 server today is selling a slot, not a game server. Is GTA 6 coming to PC?
Rockstar has not announced a PC version or a date. Every previous Grand Theft Auto reached PC after its console release, and community servers need PC, so this is the first thing to watch.
