These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of GameTeam’s Refund Policy, located at https://gameteam.io

By accessing this website and purchasing our services, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use GameTeam if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

The following terminology applies to this Refund Policy and all Agreements: “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person log on this website and compliant to the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of UK. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

This Refund Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for customers who have made a purchase on our website. This policy is not applicable to any services purchased offline or via channels other than this website.

1. Cancellation Policy

  • Subscribers can cancel their recurring subscriptions at any time. Upon cancellation, your account will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle or will be canceled immediately. You can choose this when canceling your service on the Billing panel.

2. Refund Eligibility

  • To be eligible for a refund, you must submit a request within 3 days of your subscription start date. If you request a refund within these first 3 days, the refund will be provided without any questions asked.
  • This policy applies exclusively to the date of the initial order and does not extend to the first three days of subsequent (recurring) months.
  • Refunds are not available for recurring monthly payments. To avoid further charges, you must cancel your subscription/service before the next billing cycle commences.

3. Process for Requesting a Refund

  • To request a refund, please contact our customer support team via email (hello{at}gameteam.io), live chat, or ticket system (https://bill.gameteam.io/submitticket.php). Include a brief explanation of why you are requesting a refund.

4. Refund Processing

  • Once your refund request is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of days. Please note that refunds can only be made back to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
  • The actual time for funds to appear on your statement depends on your bank or payment provider and is outside our control. Payment processor fees (for example, those charged by Stripe, PayPal, or your card network) are non-recoverable from the processor and may be deducted from the refunded amount.

5. Non-Refundable Items & Fees

  • The following are not eligible for refund under this Policy:
    • Domain name registrations, transfers, or renewals (these are paid to and managed by the upstream registry on your behalf);
    • Dedicated IP addresses, dedicated servers, custom builds, or hardware procured specifically for your order;
    • Third-party add-ons, licences, or services purchased through us on your behalf;
    • Service that has been suspended or terminated due to a breach of our Terms of Use or Acceptable Use Policy;
    • Setup fees, migration fees, and any fees expressly marked as non-refundable at the point of purchase;
    • Renewal payments and any portion of a billing cycle already used beyond the 3-day initial-order window described in section 2.

6. EU/UK Right of Withdrawal

  • If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of its conclusion, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the equivalent UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
  • Our hosting services are digital services that are provided immediately on order. By placing an order and starting to use your server before the 14-day withdrawal period has expired, you expressly request the immediate performance of the service and acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed, in accordance with Article 16(m) of the Directive.
  • Where the statutory right of withdrawal still applies, it operates in addition to (and not instead of) our standard refund policy. To exercise it, contact us at [email protected] within 14 days, identifying your order and stating that you wish to withdraw.

7. Chargebacks

  • If you have a billing concern, please contact us first at [email protected] so we can resolve it directly. We aim to respond to refund and billing enquiries promptly.
  • Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card network without first attempting to resolve the issue with us is a breach of our Terms of Use and may result in the immediate suspension or termination of all services associated with your account, without refund.
  • If a chargeback is filed and is later ruled in our favour or reversed, we may, at our discretion, reinstate the service and charge an administrative recovery fee equal to the amount of any fees imposed on us by the payment network.

8. Changes to Refund Policy

  • GameTeam reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. By continuing to use our services after changes are made, you agree to be bound by the revised policy.
